“I have been in chiropractic practice for over 20 years. I have tried various forms of advertising over the years. One thing I felt would be important, especially in print advertising, was having a consistent image. More specifically, I wanted to brand myself. I wanted a logo and a consistent look to any type of visual advertising. So everything I did to promote my practice, whether it was in print, signage or my website, would be instantly identifiable. The American Graphic Design Awards, sponsored by Graphic Design USA —a monthly magazine for advertising and graphic design professionals based in New York City— this is an annual national competition which recognizes excellence in communication and graphic design. It is among the most prestigious of all such events with only 15 percent of entries honored this year.
